Governor Lee (TN) has declared phased reopening of the state and is asking people to continue to physical distance and wear masks when in public (see TN Pledge here). Governor Northam (VA) is advising people to stay at home except for allowable travel (see Forward Virginia here).

VA Unemployment website: Virginia Employment Commission is waiving the waiting week requirements for all new initial claims with an effective date of 3-16-2020 and beyond due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the Commonwealth of Virginia. In addition, VEC will be waiving the work search requirements for all claimants starting with the week ending 3-21-2020.
