Eligible organizations may now request up to 20 Cheetah and 30 Savvio donated Seagate hard drives through TechSoup. The Seagate Cheetah (admin fee: $60$30) offers 300 GB of storage, while theSeagate Savvio (admin fee: $36 $25) offers 73 GB of storage. These are internal hard drives for servers and engineering workstations. They are great for backing up server data and organizational records, storing large files, and transferring files to another computer.

YNA Nonprofit Tech Resources - Jan 24

Hello YNA folks!

We will meet on Thursday, January 24 at 12 noon to about 1:15 pm.  We are trying a different meeting location--Bristol Virginia School Board office located at 220 Lee Street Bristol VA.  

For this meeting two members of Bristol's Promise Board, Samantha Gray, Attachment Parenting International and Alice McCaffrey, Sullivan County Anti-Drug Coalition coordinator, will share some of highlights from their technology experience.  They will share with us technology that makes their work easier, more inclusive, and effective in programming.  If you have particular tech programs that you use and love, please come prepared to add to the sharing and discussion.  Bring laptops or tablets if you wish.

As usual, come prepared to share information about your activities, needs and learnings.  You are encouraged to invite others to attend.

Lunch will be the usual $8 box lunch offered for a donation of $5.
